A Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth Ignace Pierce, age 40, will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Rose Creek Longhouse in Worley, Idaho. Rosary will be held Monday evening at 7:00 P. M. at the Longhouse. Father Peter Byrne, S. J. will officiate at the services and burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Worley. Mr. Pierce passed away on December 27th at his home in Plummer, ID.
Kenneth was born February 19, 1978 at Spokane, Washington to Mark Fish and Debbie Pierce. He was raised in Spokane and attended Sheridan Elementary School. The family later moved to the Plummer area and he attended high school in Worley, ID.
Kip worked as a heavy equipment operator for Deatley Construction for several years building roads and bridges. He later worked at the Coeur d’Alene Casino at Worley doing security work.
He enjoyed attending Pow Wows, spending time with his family and friends, and traveling. He was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and enjoyed watching the Gonzaga Bulldog basketball games. Kip was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.
Kip is survived by mother, Debbie Ward of Plummer, his son Carlos Marquez of Usk, Washington; his siblings, Dennis Campbell of Worley, Joel Pierce of Worley, Danielle Morales of Lemoore, California, Sunita Michael of Worley, Christina Michael of Plummer, and Selena Joe of Worley. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Fish.
