LILA M (COLVIN) McINERNEY

Funeral services for Lila M. McInerney, age 85, will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Freeze Church north of Potlatch, Idaho.    Pastor Kathy Lee Kramer will officiate at the service and burial will follow at the Freeze Cemetery.    Mrs. McInerney passed away at her home in Spokane from age related causes.

Lila was born August 7, 1933 at Potlach, Idaho to Lester and Louella (Hall) Colvin.  She attended Potlatch schools, graduating from Potlatch High School in 1951.     Lila Marie Colvin married James E. McInerney at Sandpoint, Idaho on March 7, 1959.  The couple made their home in Wallace for a few months, prior to moving to Orofino, Idaho where they made their home until 1991.   Lila worked a number of years as a phone operator for GTE, and her husband Mac was a telephone technician for the company.    Following their retirement in 1991, they moved to Spokane where she has made her home since.   Her husband died in 2007.

Lila enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid bowler.   She was a fan of the ‘Price is Right’ and ‘Wheel of Fortune’ on television.    She enjoyed traveling with her husband after their retirement.

Survivors include her daughter Kim Aoyama and her husband Bill of Spokane, WA, her son Kevin McInerney and his wife Jamie of Deary, Idaho; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial gifts may be given to the Freeze Cemetery at Potlatch, Idaho.
