Randy Dean Fisher

December 15, 1960 ~ October 1, 2017 (age 56) 56 Years Old

Randy D. Fisher, age 56, a resident of Tekoa, WA, passed away Sunday morning at his home in Tekoa.

He was born December 15, 1960 in Spokane, Washington to Maralyn Smith and Elwood Fisher.  Randy was raised by his mother Maralyn.  He attended schools in Spokane and Moscow, Idaho.  Following his education, Randy started working seasonally for McHargue family, first for Charles, then for Ron and Don McHargue in the Tekoa area.  In 2010, Randy moved to Tekoa and went to work for Mike McHargue farming full time.  He worked 35 years for the McHargue family.   Mike  and Shannon McHargue were not only employers, but family as well.

Randy lived with Angel Konshuk for the last 16 years. She survives at the Tekoa home.

Randy loved golfing and was a member of the Tekoa Men’s Golf League.  He watched Nascar races on television and also enjoyed watching Do It Yourself shows.  His family called Randy ‘Mr. Fix-It’ and the farming city boy.

Survivors include Angel Konshuk at the Tekoa home, their children, Zaakary Fisher of Tekoa, Damien Lo of Spokane, Alicia Lo of Indiana,  Angela Smart of Okanogan, Dawnmarie Konshuk of Spokane, Jennifer Konshuk of Spokane; 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; his parents, Maralyn and Frank Coe of Spokane, his siblings, David Fisher of Spokane, Jerry Fisher of Arizona, Mike Morford of Spokane, Becky Morford of Spokane, Stacie Balentine of Seattle, twin sister Sherri Macy of Edmond, Oklahoma, brothers Mike Coe and Frank Coe Jr., and sisters Corina Coe and Renee Coe.

Randy was preceded in death by his father Elwood Fisher and a brother, Larry Fisher.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11 AM  at the Tekoa High School Multipurpose Room in Tekoa.   A potluck luncheon will follow the memorial gathering.  Memorial gifts for the benefit of Zaakary Fisher may be given at Banner Bank, PO Box 1048, Tekoa, WA, 99033.
