Patrick Allen Duncan

Patrick A. Duncan, age 53, a lifelong Tekoa area resident, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his rural Spokane County home.

He was born October 1, 1964 at Spokane, Washington.  He was raised by Robert and Joyce Trescott Towne.  When Robert Towne died, Joyce married William Duncan, and the couple adopted Patrick.  Patrick attended schools in Tekoa, graduating from Tekoa High School in 1983.  Pat then attended Spokane Community College for one year, and then attended the University of Idaho in Moscow for one year.   While in school in Moscow, he was a member of the University of Idaho Marching Band.  Following his education, he returned home where he farmed with his family.

Patrick was a member of the Oakesdale Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Whitman County Shrine Club.    He enjoyed fly fishing, camping, and spending time at Big Creek Campgrounds.  He had been a former volunteer EMT with the Tekoa Ambulance.   Pat had been married and divorced.

Survivors include two daughters, Kristina Duncan of Coeur d’Alene, ID, and Kimberly Duncan of Plummer, ID; his siblings, Lori Hay of Tekoa, WA, Debbie Harp of Tekoa, WA, Randy Duncan of Tekoa, WA, and David Duncan of Worley, ID.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Dennis Duncan.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.  Memorial gifts may be given to the Tekoa Ambulance Fund, PO Box 597, Tekoa, WA, 99033.
