ALZORA CARTER Obituary

Alzora M. Carter, age 97, quietly passed away January 26, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada with her loving and devoted daughter Renee Murray at her side.

She was born April 30, 1922 to Leslie and Ella (Culp) Smith.  Alzora attended schools in Tekoa, graduating from Tekoa High School in 1940.  Alzora married Eugene J. W. Carter on November 8, 1946 and the couple made their home north of Tensed, Idaho where Eugene farmed with his brother Othel.  Eugene retired from farming in 1982.

The couple started wintering in Palm Desert, CA for several years before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1992.  Her husband Eugene died in 1992.  She continued to make her home in Las Vegas.

Survivors include her daughter Renee Murray, one granddaughter, Heidi Cunningham, two great grandchildren, Courtney Corriell and Troy Cunningham, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Alzora leaves us with many precious memories, special family times, singing, dancing, fun times with Slippery Gulch.   She has now gone to be with her loving husband Eugene J.W. Carter, who passed away in 1992, and other family and friends.   God and her loved ones will take care of her now.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Tekoa.   Kramer Funeral Home of Tekoa is handling the local arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.kramercares.com.
