A Mass of Christian Burial for Connie Mahoney, age 66, will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rose Creek Longhouse in Worley, Idaho.  Rosary will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Longhouse.  Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Plummer, Idaho.  Connie passed away Monday, May 8th in Plummer, Idaho.

Connie Mahoney was born September 23, 1956 at Wallace, Idaho to George Joseph Mahoney and Edith Zachary Mahoney.   She was raised in the Plummer area, attended Plummer schools, a graduated from Plummer High School in 1974.  Connie later attended North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene and Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Connie was married to Victor LaSarte and the couple later divorced.  Connie later married Dennis Martin and they were later divorced. She later married Gabe Galler and they later divorced.

Connie worked in the payroll department for the Coeur d’Alene Tribal Finance Department in Plummer until she retired. 

Survivors include two children; Vicki Mahoney Tovey of Plummer and Dennis Martin of Plummer.   Also surviving are her siblings, Margaret Jose of Plummer, Christine Meyer of Plummer, and Pete Mahoney of Plummer and 6 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her Son, Zacharia Mahoney George and two siblings, Louie Mahoney and John Mahoney.
