EVELYN LORAINE PILKOVSKY

Evelyn L.  Pilkovsky, age 76, passed away October 13, 2020 at Holy family Hospital in Spokane, Washington.  At her request, no public service will be held, and her urn will be placed in Goldenrod Cemetery in Tekoa.  Evelyn was a former resident of Tekoa.

She was born October 21, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Cleo Canady and Dorothy Roller Canady.    Her family moved west in the where her father was a concrete worker on local dams.

Evelyn married Dimitry ‘Jim’ Pilkovsky in 1986 in New Hampshire and the couple moved to Tekoa in the late 1980’s.  Jim worked as an electrician and Evelyn worked at the Tekoa Care Center as a nutritionist for several years.   She later worked as a parapro for the Tekoa School District.  Her husband Jim died in 1998.  Following his death, Evelyn moved to Spokane where she has made her home since.

Survivors include her children, Edward Sayers, Jeffrey Sayers, and Jeanette Sayers; several grandchildren, her sisters,  Margie Jaeger of Tekoa, Janice Tollett of Spokane..
