GLORIA RAE (HENDRICKX) RIOS

Funeral services for Gloria Rae Rios, age 80, will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Evan Abraham Longhouse at DeSmet, Idaho.   Burial will follow at the DeSmet Mission Cemetery.  Mrs. Rios passed away November 2, 2022 at her home in Plummer,  Idaho.

She was born November 18, 1941 at St. Maries, Idaho to Joseph and Alfreda (Swan) Hendrickx.  She was raised in Tensed, Idaho and attended schools in Plummer, Idaho.  Gloria married Richard Rios on April 28, 1962 in Campbell, California.  She worked at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) in Silicon Valley for 14 years.  Prior to that, she worked at Moffit Field in California and was a childcare provider.  Following her retirement, Gloria worked as a house cleaner.   The family returned to the Plummer,; Idaho area in 1995,

Gloria enjoyed cooking for her family and taking care of her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Richard Rios at the Plummer home, her two children, Kamie Arista of Plummer and James Rios of Modesto, California.   Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, 6 grreat grandchildren, and a sister Carmie Schneider.
