JANET CROSS

Janet Cross, age 76, a resident of Tekoa, Washington, passed away September 2, 2021 at an adult family home in Spokane.

A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 11th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tekoa, Washington.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM at the church with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery near Tekoa.   Father Daniel Barnett will officiate at the services.  A reception will follow the service.

Janet Wilson was born on April 18, 1945 in Rhode Island.  She attended Notre Dame high school in Pawtucket RI.  Janet married Richard Cross Sr. on July 5, 1970 in Rhode Island.  Janet was a homemaker and Richard worked as a carpet installer.  The couple later moved to Spokane, Washington and settled in Tekoa in 2016.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tekoa.

Janet is survived by her son Jason Cross and 5 grandchildren,  Jason Cross Jr, Blaise Cross, Oliver Cross, Nicodemus Cross, and Emiko Cross and there mother  Kimiko Sumihiro all of Spokane, WA;  her sister, Brenda Martel and her brother James Beaton both of Rhode Island; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her  husband Richard Cross Sr., and her son, Richard Cross Jr., her parents Jeannette Beaton and Clinton Wilson, and her siblings Russell and Linda Wilson.
