I remember Uncle John fondly. He was my Father's,(Gerlando/Jerry) older brother.  When we were young, he helped us out from time to time when my parents were having difficulties, I shall never forget those acts of kindness.

Our Family has scattered to the four winds, living now all over the USA.  I had spoken to Uncle Johnny about 4 years ago, but then he moved into a home and I was never able to get his number from my last surviving Aunt, Jenny.  I enjoyed our discussion, the last time we spoke.  I remember visiting him and Aunt Janette  in California City, CA one very warm August.  Someone could have mentioned that it was in Death Valley and that I would need a portable air conditioner to just keep from melting away! LOL  In spite of the heat, I had a great visit.

He, like my own Father, decided to make no big deal about his passing, keeping everything low key.  His big heart and easy smile will , however, live on for decades in our memories.

Jean, I visited you in your house in the south Chicago Suburbs, back in the day.  We lost touch then too.

Let me say that I feel your loss, but I rejoice that you had your Dad till the ripe, old age of 99.  My own Father passing at 72 and my Mother at a young 54 years old.

The pain will ease.  You will remember the good times far more than the not so good ones, especially as time passes by.  May he Rest In Peace and may God's guiding and loving hand touch your hearts and ease the burden that you must bear.

David Giudice, on behalf of my brothers Jerome, Vincent and Michael and our families.

John was always a very friendly and upbeat man.  We enjoyed your company and seeing at church when you were able.  You will be missed.
