JOSEPH SIPRIANO RODRIGUEZ

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph S. Rodriguez was held at the Evan Abraham Longhouse at DeSmet, Idaho at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2021.  Rosary was held on Friday evening at the Longhouse.   Burial was held at the DeSmet Mission Cemetery.   Mr. Rodriguez passed away January 5, 2021 at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Joseph was born May 17, 1980 at San Jose, California to Sipriano Rodriguez and Simone K. Hendrickx.   He attended McCollum grade school, Shepard middle school in California and finished his school at Lakeside High School in Plummer, Idaho.

Joseph married Josephina Flores on May 7, 2008 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and the couple made their home in Worley.  Joseph worked for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe at the casino for 10 years.   He worked as a dish washer and in casino security.   He retired for health reason in 2015.

He was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Joseph enjoyed watching Raiders Football and cutting hair.

Survivors include in wife Josephine Rodriguez of Oregon; five sons; and several brothers and sisters.
