Kathy Ann Larson, age 51, passed away Wednesday night at the Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho following a short hard battle with cancer.

She was born April 20, 1965 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Richard Thomas Karpinski and Marie E. Melancon Karpinski.   She attended schools in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, graduating from high school there.    Kathy married Larry Michael Larson and the couple raised four children.  They had made their home in southern Idaho and in the DeSmet, Idaho area.    Her husband Larry died in 2006.  Kathy moved to Hayden, Idaho in 2016 to be near her mother.

Survivors include her four children, Jesse Karpinski, Jenna Karpinski, Brook Larson, and Brittney Larson; her mother and stepfather, Malcolm and Marie Campbell of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; her siblings, Debbie Santiago, Tina Karpinski, and Tim Karpinski.

Kathy was a homemaker for most of her life.  She loved flowers and was a great mother to her children.  Life and love is what she gave all of the time, In Jesus name.  She was recently baptized at the Heart of the City Church in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sanders Community Church in Sanders, Idaho.   Pastor Daniel Willms will officiate at the service.
