Funeral Mass for Richard E. Cross Sr. will be held on July 23, 2021 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Spokane, Washington at 545 East Providence Street.   There will be a viewing at 10:00 am followed by a Rosary at 11:00am and Funeral Mass starting at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery near Tekoa, Washington at 3:00 pm.  Reverend Father William Slattery will officiate at the services.

Richard Cross was born June 2, 1939 at Portland, Maine to Angus Hill and Victoria Cross.  He attended Catholic school in Maine.  Following his schooling, Richard enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for 3 years.  He was honorably discharge as a Private in August of 1962.   Following his service, he returned to Rhode Island. 

Richard Cross married Janet Wilson on July 5, 1970 in Rhode Island.   Janet was a homemaker and Richard worked as carpet installer.  The family moved to Spokane, Washington where he continued working the floor covering industry.   Richard and Janet moved to Tekoa, Washington 5 years ago.

He was a member of the Catholic Church and a Marine Corps Veterans.

Survivors include his wife Janet at the Tekoa home, his son Jason Cross of Spokane,
