SHELBY  M.  LOZON                                                                                                                          JANUARY 26, 2023

A Funeral Mass for Shelby M. Lozon, age 40, will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the Evan Abraham Longhouse at DeSmet, Idaho.  Burial will follow at the DeSmet Mission Cemetery.  The Rosary will be held Sunday evening at the Longhouse.  Shelby passed away January 26, 2023 in Post Falls, Idaho.

Shelby was born December 18, 1982 at Spokane, Washington to John Lozon and Rhonda Goddard Lozon.  She attended the tribal school at DeSmet, one year of high school in Plummer, and two years of school in Moscow, Idaho.

Shelby worked at Mariam Health in Plummer for a few years, and later worked at the Hotel at the Coeur d’Alene Casino in Worley. 

She was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in DeSmet.  She had been married and divorced.

Survivors include her children, Shantel Mahoney, Hallea Mahoney, Anthony Mahoney, and Ashton Mahoney, all of Post Falls, Idaho;  her siblings, Brian Quilly Lozon of DeSmet, Valerie Lozon of DeSmet, John Wayne Lozon of DeSmet, and Cecilia Kuhn of Spokane, WA; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lozon and Rhonda Goddard.
