Zeno Jose Garcia

A  Mass of Christian Burial for Zeno Garcia, age 55, will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Tribal Longhouse at DeSmet, Idaho.   Rosary will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Longhouse.    Burial will follow at the DeSmet Mission Cemetery.  Mr. Garcia passed away October 9, 2020 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Zeno Jose Garcia was born May 7, 1965 at Spokane, Washington to Louis and Inez (Cherapkin) Garcia.  He attended schools in Plummer, Idaho and graduated from Plummer High School in 1984.  Zeno worked for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe as a number caller at the Bingo Hall at the Coeur d’Alene Casino for over 20 years.   He retired for health reason several years ago.  He has made his home in Worley for the past 14 years.

He was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include his companion of over 20 years, Shanna Conko, at the Worley home, a son, Ricco Gonzales, two brothers, George ManyBears of Tensed, ID, Geno Williams of Spokane, WA; her sister, Christine Garcia of Worley, ID; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Garcia.
